On that particular Wednesday, we chose the famous Teepee Restaurant which stood next to the Indiana State Fairgrounds. It was unique since it was built in the shape of a Naive American Teepee. The place was known for its delicious double stack hamburgers. I was especially fond of them! As the waitress took our orders, somehow the others didn't notice that I ordered nothing. (Times were slim and I just didn't have the money for my lunch). Later, as we chatted and laughed, the food was delivered to our table. The waitress looked quizzically as she checked all her orders. "Strange," she whispered, "I have an extra Big Teep sandwich!" The Lord sweetly spoke to my heart, "That one's yours." The waitress noticed that I was the only one without a sandwich and handed me the sandwich, "No charge," she said, "This one must be yours." That was one of the best lunches I had ever enjoyed! Whether it was in Jesus' time in 1969, or in 2012 He still feeds hungry people.
Many times, we find our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual resources exhausted. But, the Lord just goes to His storehouse of blessings, gets exactly what we need and provides for us by saying, "That one's YOURS."
